DragonFire Tie Rods for Can-Am Maverick and Max
- Updated: February 4, 2014
Ever hear the expression “look before you leap”? Can-Am Maverick and Max owners should heed this advice and check out the hollow aluminum tie rods that come stock on these UTVs. DragonFire suggests taking a closer look at their tougher tie rod options, especially when it comes to big jumps, deep whoops and rough trails.
“DragonFire has found that the stock tie rods can be the first thing to go during aggressive driving,” says product development manager, Brice Ginn. “As always, we went to the drawing board and designed a set of tie rods that hold up to the punishment DragonFire likes to dish out.” Years of racing experience are combined with technological savvy to create heavy duty solid 4130 Chromoly steel tie rods that are a direct replacement for the stock aluminum components.
“We even use the OEM rod ends, making installation a snap,” adds Ginn. In addition to superior strength compared to their hollow aluminum counterparts, DragonFire tie rods also feature a stylish black powdercoated finish for anti-corrosion purposes. Last but not least, CNC-milled wrench locations to facilitate adjustments round out these rods.
“Nothing is unbreakable, but we feel like we have gotten darn close with this kit,” Ginn concludes. Run what the pros run with the new DragonFire Heavy Duty Tie Rods for the Can-Am Maverick and Max models!
