Chace Findley Takes OSCN Round 2
- Updated: February 26, 2014
Perfect track conditions led to another great round of racing at the Off-Road Short Course Nationals (OSCN), Round 2 event out at North Forty Cycle Park in Denison,TX. Not many changes were made to the track, but that did not change how the racing panned out. From the Youth Class to the Pro Class, everyone had a great time.
The Sportsman Class showed a lot of returning racers along with a few new faces. Brian Reiter would qualify on the pole again as he did in Round 1, but this time in his new Polaris RZR XP1000. Ben Brown had an impressive second place run, putting him well ahead of third. Bringing in third place was Zach Roberts in his Can Am Maverick.
The Pro Class would have Joey Pratt qualify for the pole position again, but during the second moto he would suffer from a broken axle which would end his day. Manuel Esquivel, who was running second, would be taken out early from a broken belt. This would then put Chace Findley, who switched from the Can Am Maverick in Round 1 to the Polaris RZR XP1000 for Round 2, into First Place. Chace Findley wanted to add, “I would mainly like to thank Podium SXS and North Forty Cycle Park for putting on these races. They are doing a great job! It’s great to have a place to race UTV’s somewhat nearby, 4 hour drive for us. The family and I are having a blast and look forward to attending many more races in the future.”
OSCN would like thank all of our sponsors: ABF Fabrication, Podium SXS, Super ATV, Red River Motorsports,
