Bikeman Performance 122hp RZR 900S

Bikeman Performance, (BMP) has been making power, and more importantly – transferring that power to the ground, for many years. What people may not know is how they arrived at where they are today. What started back in 2003 as a business idea in a two car garage has advanced to a 22,000 square foot, full service, building and tuning custom speed shop today. Of course this didn’t happen overnight, but as their business grew, they added top notch speed experts and enthusiasts alike, to form a staff of professionals, who could tackle any project from full race builds to your daily driver and everything in between.
After spending two days at the shop, meeting their employees, and picking their brains for all the knowledge I could handle, I realized how much they have done in the SxS industry, Snowmobile, ATV and Motorcycle arenas. For this build we started with my 2015 Polaris RZR 900S. The 900S is a very capable machine but while racing in several different disciplines we found that it was time for a power increase, as many racers are running 1000+cc motors or turbos.
First off, we increased the displacement from 875cc to a 935cc by using their 935cc big bore kit. This kit comes complete with a Big Bore Cylinder Exchange, Two Wosner High Performance Pistons, Rings, Circlips, Wrist Pins, Base and Head Gaskets. Next we installed two BMP High Performance Camshafts, and a RZR 900 Shim Under Bucket Construction Kit, to make re-shimming easier. Next we needed some Cylinder Head Porting and Oversize Valves, BMP’s Professional Cylinder Porting, and clutching to take this motor from approximately 75hp to a ground ripping, 122hp!
We also installed a Bully Dog GT with BMP Level 6 Race Tune to get all we could from this motor. After the motor was rebuilt and installed it was off to the dyno to finish fuel mapping and clutch tuning. We chose to swing for the fence with this build, but as you can see with the attached horsepower and torque graph, there are many different upgrades available for the RZR 900S.
